The Chiesa di San Nicol dei Mendicoli is a church in Venice's Dorsoduro district. It is one of Venice's oldest churches and is dedicated to Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of sailors. The church was built in the 9th century, but the current structure dates from the 16th century. It has a lovely facade with a rose window and a bell tower. The church's interior features several significant artworks, including a painting by Giovanni Battista Piazzetta.
