The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris (French: Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre) is a Roman Catholic church located at the top of the hill of Montmartre in Paris, France. The basilica was built between 1875 and 1914 in a distinctive Romano-Byzantine architectural style, and is known for its large domes and striking white exterior. It is a popular tourist attraction and pilgrimage site, as well as a place of worship, with regular Masses and other religious services.
