Landmark
The Triumphal Arch in Moldova is a historical monument located in the center of Chișinău, the capital city of Moldova. It was built in 1841 to commemorate the victory of the Russian Empire in the Russo-Turkish War (1828-1829) and was designed by the architect Ieronim Kitner. The arch has a Neoclassical design and is made of limestone. It is adorned with several sculptures and bas-reliefs, including figures of the allegories of Victory, Fame, and Peace. The Triumphal Arch is an important landmark in Chișinău and a symbol of the city's rich cultural heritage.
