The Art Deco Welcome Center is a visitor center located in the heart of the Art Deco Historic District in Miami Beach, Florida. The center offers information and tours on the history and architecture of the Art Deco style, which was popular in the 1920's and 1930's and is characterized by its bold geometric shapes, bright colors, and nautical motifs. The center also offers walking tours of the district, which is home to more than 800 preserved Art Deco buildings. Visitors can learn about the history, architecture, and restoration of the buildings and the people who lived and worked in them. The Welcome Center also features an Art Deco museum that showcases that era's Art Deco architecture and furniture.
