Fortaleza de Sagres, also referred to as Castelo de Sagres or Forte de Sagres, is a military monument situated in the municipality of Vila do Bispo, in the region of Algarve and is the southwesternmost point of Europe. Back in the old days it was considered the “end of the world” or “fim do mundo”.
