On this small route, we'll visit all the major landmarks and spots of central Lisbon. We started our day at the Praca de Commercio (commerce square), a lively plaza that was rebuilt after a devastating tsunami in the 19th century. There you can find many souvenir shops, restaurants and wine bars which make the square a favourite spot for tourists and locals. The next stop will be the magnificent Sao Jorge Castle. The commanding location of the castle provides spectacular views of the city along with the chance to enjoy the company of live peacocks who lives in the area. We continue our stroll to Santa Justa Lift, a unique spot that truly amazes everyone with its views over the neighbourhood of Baixa. Right next to it we will find the Carmo Archaeological Museum, which was home to Carmelite nuns until 1755 and now serves as a museum with pieces from all periods of Portuguese history. Our last stop will be at the famous Miradouro de Sao Pedro de Alcantara, a garden with breathtaking views of the city and various food and wine stalls that will help you replenish your energy.
