We start our route from Monastiraki, a vibrant Athen's square with many street artists and sellers. We then start walking on Ifestou street, next to the subway station and we take a left on Nisou street to meet the Ancient Agora of Athens. This is where the ancient flea market was located, and also where the Greek philosophers used to address the Athenians. The stunning Stoa of Attalos and the Temple of Hephaestus is located in Agora of Athens and we recommend visiting them both. You will need around 30 minutes to walk around the ancient ruins and visit the temples. We then visit Avissinias square (also called Plateia Avissinias), where the Athenian antique market is located. There are more than 10 antique stores located in and around Avissinias square, selling from furniture and jewellery to posters and comic books. Our next stop is the Museum of Illusions, which is as much fun as it sounds it should be. Our final stop is the Mystilli restaurant/tavern, where you can enjoy great Greek food while having a view of the Ancient Agora.
